This Oxfordshire-based IT company approached Flippa Interiors to transform a conventional office into a workspace that better reflected how their team works. In a fast-paced, highly technical industry, their brief was to move away from a sterile corporate feel. In response we designed an environment that supports concentration, collaboration and balance in equal measure.
Our cohesive interior scheme was influenced by Japandi principles, combining clean lines and uncluttered layouts with natural materials and softened tones. The palette of warm neutrals, grounded greens and wood finishes brings a sense of calm to what is otherwise a fast-paced technology-heavy environment, ensuring the work spaces feel composed, functional and thoughtfully designed.
We carefully planned the layout to support different ways of working throughout the day. Open-plan areas encourage collaboration and easy communication, while more private offices provide quieter settings for leadership, meetings and focused work. Informal breakout spaces offer places to step away from desks, reset, and introduce a relaxed, social rhythm to the working environment which the company were seeking to provide for their staff.
