For the principal bedroom, the starting point was a painting our client had loved for years, and the palette was built out from there. The bespoke headboard and curtains are made in fabric from The House of Hackney, chosen for the way it holds the room's mood without competing with it. The ensuite carries the same restrained, layered feel through, so the whole suite reads as one considered scheme.
The guest bedroom took a warmer, more welcoming approach, with natural walls, deep blue bedside cabinets and a statement pendant lamp above another bespoke upholstered headboard. It's a room designed to put visiting family and friends at ease from the moment they arrive.
The remaining bedrooms belonged to the couple's children, now grown up and living away from home but still returning to stay on occasion. These were kept simple and neutral, with one room finished in soft pink accents, the owner's favourite colour, echoed in artwork the family had chosen together.
